ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
The globalized world of today is facing uncertain times. Conflicts in the Middle East, slowing economic growth in China, Europe and the US, outsourcing and automation of production and services, shifting of businesses online and multiple other factors are revolutionizing the way companies employ people to satisfy their customers. The employee of tomorrow can no longer cope with this fast-paced, ever-changing environment unless he/she is equipped with an evolving set of knowledge, skills and abilities to match the dynamic requirements of the 21st century organization. To better understand this new reality, the main theme chosen for the BTI Research Symposium is “Emerging Trends 2020”.
Staff members were invited to submit research / review papers, articles and case studies relevant to Bahrain and the Middle East, to envision the emerging trends that are shaping the needs of today’s organizations.
